Department of Rasashastra & Bhaisajya Kalpana

This department has been functioning since 1980 in its own building. It has its own well-decorated museum containing more than 200 raw and prepared drugs and about 100 different charts and models. A pharmacy is attached to the department for the manufacture of Ayurvedic medicines; traditional and modern equipment is used to manufacture more than 50 medicines annually. The prepared medicines are used for OPD and IPD patients, practical classes are carried out in the pharmacy, and it also supplies medicines for different health camps.
