Herbal Garden
Five acres, 1016 plants, 292 species
A well-maintained Herbal Garden is present within the campus, spreading over about five acres of land. It comprises more than 1016 plants across 292 species, and serves as a living laboratory for practical demonstration to students of the Department of Dravyaguna.
Students are imparted practical training in plant identification, collection, and the pharmacognostic study of medicinal plants. The garden also supplies raw material to the college pharmacy for the preparation of Ayurvedic medicines.
