Department of Ayurveda Samhita, Siddhanta and Sanskrit

This department has been functioning since the inception of the college. Classical texts i.e. Charaka Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya, along with subjects like Padartha Vijnana and Ayurveda Itihasa, are taught here. In Sanskrit, teaching is imparted to improve the grammatical and literary knowledge of the students for better understanding of the classical texts. This department has its own museum containing various charts and models.
